We'll be joined by two guest speakers; Ella Rowe of Elvies Studios; the place to go for all afro/curly's, and Chadley Camp of Little Homey Cafe; the cutest community and BIPOC focued cafe in Naarm, alongside your event host and founder of ROOTS Culture Collective; Lakeri Teziggwa.

LIVE ART
Observe in awe the artwork of Tino (Miss Mabhanzi), and Zali (Styled by Zali) as they design unique braided hair art, as part of an art installation.
PERFORMANCE
Mellow down to the soulful sound of Adrian Eagle .
And enjoy a contemporary dance performance by breathtaking Movement Artist, Joan Kombura while listening to Rufaro Zimbudzi recite her beautiful poetry.
FOOD
fill yourself with a taste of Cameroon from Vola Foods, by Ashley Vola.
ACCESSIBILITY
Ramps will be placed at entryways, and (TBC) an accessible porta-loo will be rented, I will keep this page updated!
We're here to celebrate the start of ROOTS, connect with our community, vibe out, socialise, and maybe shake a little ass, all while platforming other BIPOC creatives & entrepreneurs while were at it!
Because we're more than products, were a collective, a community. All are welcome to enjoy, support, and connect, BIPOC are encouraged to come find something/somewhere with them in mind.
