Iftiimo creates handmade, organic hair and skincare rooted in Somali traditions and African beauty rituals. Founded by Qatan, a medical researcher by day and beauty enthusiast by night, the brand was born from years of experimenting in her family kitchen, blending herbal oils, butters, and botanicals into products that actually work.

Frustrated by the lack of clean, organic products for people of color, Qatan combined her Laboratory Medicine background with her passion for beauty to create Iftiimo in 2019. The name comes from the Somali word "Iftiin," meaning shine, glow, or light - inspired by compliments on her radiant skin during a trip to Milan.

What started as one conditioning growth oil has grown into a full range of haircare and skincare designed for diverse skin tones and hair textures. Every product is handmade, organic, and formulated to protect, nourish, and replenish from within.
